BarCampKerala2: scheduled in Kochi

According to Wikipedia, "BarCamp is an international network of user generated conferences — open, participatory workshop-events, whose content is provided by participants..." I've always looked forward to meeting like-minded people who are interested in technology and other so-called geeky stuff. Again according to Wikipedia, Bar Camp discusses about the web, related open-source technologies, social protocols and open-data formats. The first Bar Camp had been conducted at TechnoPark campus, Thiruvanandapuram. I honestly did not hear about it. Even if I had, I don't have the faintest idea as to how I would have made up to it. For anything that is completely unplanned and informal, it still has rules. ;-) For what-can-you-do at BarCamp is available here. If you're a first timer, be sure to read this, to have an idea on what to expect at a BarCamp. :-) If anyone is interested, they can add their name to the list of attendees in the BarCampKerala2 official webpage. New thoughts: I wanted to present something. The topics that met the priority were -- "The Emacs Text Editor", "The Dvorak Simplified Keyboard", "How to Google Effectively" (thanks to Johnny Long). I don't know if I'll be able to make up something in midst of the model exams, job hunting, exam preparations, and the like. I'm more inclined towards Dvorak. But Emacs won't be that bad too. I hope I can make up something. But don't cross your fingers. I'll bring along my thumb drive as a precaution. :-) See ya all at BarCampKerala2.
